What does a sailing licence course cost?

However, the study material is fairly complicated, which makes it sometimes difficult to follow by yourself. You can also choose to follow a course. There are schools that offer a day course, where you go to school one day and then continue the study at home. A one-day course costs around €150. You can also take an online course, where you are taught digitally. The cost of an online course is usually between €75 and €100.

For example, you will learn how to use the rudder, how the outboard motor works, how to moor and what to do if someone falls overboard. What does a sailing licence exam cost?
To obtain your sailing licence, you only need to take a theory exam, not a practical exam. To pass Boating Licence 2, you need to pass both the KVB1 and KVB2 exams. You can take both exams in one go, or first take KVB1 and then KVB2. The cost of the KVB1 exam is €44,45. The cost of the KVB2 exam is €52,90. No, your age is not a factor. There is no minimum age for taking the Limited Watercraft Licence examination. You can do this at 18, but also at 65. How old you are is not important for the costs. What does it cost to apply for a sailing licence?
Finally, there are the costs for applying for the sailing licence. These are for both KVB1 and KVB2 €10,60. Are you going directly for KVB 2? Then you only have to apply once for a sailing licence.
